The V2 is out

The only limitation with that adaptor is the shutter speed, limited to 1.7 sec ... is mean what?

also with nikon dsrl lens, the lenght is x 1.5 or x 2.0 ?

thanks

Actually - it's no longer than 1.3s, not 1.7s.

So basically, if you want to take those cool night shots of traffic with car headlights and taillights trailing off into eternity - you can't with the FT-1!

And the crop factor is 2.7x - so a 50mm lens becomes 135mm - great for bird shots - not so great for landscapes.

V1 still good. Handheld.

Just played with the V2. I like it but the body is actually too light for my favorite lens, the 10-100mm PD. It feels unbalanced. Also, the V2's EVF is much noisier than the one of the V1 at higher ISO.

Ops, I didn't buy it coz I own already a V1 + GR-N1000. I just played with the V2 at the Sitex.

I think the Nikon 1 series is more for people you buy cameras to take photos instead of decorating it with soft buttons, half cases or other hilarious stuff. It's probably not stylish enough to let it collect dust. ;-)

Yup, it's an awesome system camera. Too much negative propaganda from people who can't take a proper photo with any cam. ;)

yup..
i agree.
i personally tried it at nsc.
wow...
grip is 100x better than v1
it is more like gripping D7000 (V2) on hand than getting a pns camera (V1).
