The switch from a full MF kit to Prosumer DSLR, is it worth it?

but i have actually changed my mind, and might be getting a 1D or a 20D
and would be selling my mamiya set away,

of course i will still be using my contax for film stuff, but digital is a medium i would like to try so yeah.
