A noob question. So using the lighting equipment you can archive the evening sky effect? Coz in the behind-the-scene video, it seems kinda bright day.....

Hi Lionheart,

Good point. I could have. It's prolly because every change had to be compensated. If I increase the exposure, I had to reduce the power of the lights. And with the sun setting at such a fast rate, and due to my slowness, I'd rather just leave it to pp once I got an acceptable shot.

Definitely possible even without lights. Just that if you have foreground subjects, then good luck to them.

Oh yes, there were some who PM-ed me regarding the lights I'm using.
I'm currently using the cheapest ones I can find.
JINBEI RD-600 and I got it from afiend/kenneth - the studio outfitters!
Been using them for 3years and still going strong.

if he did not use strobe flash the subject would be back lighted. he uses the flash so that the subject would come out. i wonder whats the use of those big reflect does it really help? for a very high aperture i think the reflector are useless... correct me if i am wrong...

I'm just wondering does the 2 reflectors serve any purpose since the ambient is severely underexposed and they don't seem to be angled to reflect the softbox light either (as seen from the video posted).
