The Secret Eden

very very nice works and processing! i love the etching effects, subtle but not overpowering. the only nitpick would be the "halo" around the model's head.

5 hearts for your photos!!

:heart::heart::heart::heart::heart:

:heart: love this compo, placing the model at the side of the frame, simply awesome.. :)

I like the first and third pix but not sure why there are tiny micro lines across all the pix.

so sorry for the late reply! in summary, the series is inspired by Frank Eugene 's 'unphotographic photography'. but because i m into the world of colors, i added in color and compositional elements of classical paintings. i ve also replicated Frank Eugene 's hand etchings and scratchings on negatives style in photoshop manually.

but i may not be successful so it s possible that it does not appeal to some : ) thanks for dropping by!

thank you so much Cjhnsn! so sorry for the late reply!

This is nice.. but feels that a tighter framing might be better.. the BG doesn't really add to the picture.. just the model/pose is nice..

Thank you Limsgp! so sorry for the late reply! i think the bg helps in establishing the feel v much in the pic : )

overall very good series n nice shoot!

thank you thank you! sorry for the late reply!

Great pics :thumbsup::thumbsup:, but i'm constantly distracted by the effect(?) you used. It seems as if you shot through an old car window :confused:

thank you for dropping by!

thank you thank you bullseyez!

it s mainly tedious work of separating the subject from the bg and then adjust colors and contrast. the etching is hand painted. there is also textures overlaying in v low opacities : )

nice... where exactly in QT is this place?
