the red dot dropped off...how?

borrowed my friend's M8.2 and summicron 28 and 50mm...used mainly the 28, took out the 50mm and saw the red dot on the 50mm missing...donno whether it's me or not, can't find it anywhere, wonder where to "touch up" with a new replacement red dot?how much?should be able to DIY glue back I think...thanks..

Just go to the Leica office at International Building to install the red dot. This has happened to both my M and R lenses.

It was foc for me the last time when Schmidt was still the distributor . Not certain now.
