That's one of the reasons. It's also because I realise that nowadays I never use it at all. Not even once. It's always my 18-55 I use. Never felt a need/want to change to the 55-200.

By the way I bought the 55-200 at $360, so $260 seems fine to me (especially since there is already a replacement model, 55-300 VR)
