and WHOA. that guy who asked us to vote for his girlfriend on the facebook contest... ended up getting flamed.. haha no one voted for her.

nope i think it's some troll who registered last year but his first post was to beg us to help his girlfriend get the phone. what he didn't tell us is that if his girlfriend won, he'd get the phone too. what i don't like is being made use of, which is what the guy is doing. telling half-truths and all..

the only problem with such contests is that the prettiest girl/hottest guy doesn't win. usually it's the person with the most amount of friends who've got nothing better to do hahaha. as is the case with the leaderboard now.

quite a lot of friends actually. just that i prefer to win on merit than votes.

contests where participants are voted to win are just rigged contests... the more friends you have, the higher chance you stand to win.

there's no point in winning these kinda contests...because it only screams 2 things:

1) you pestered and irritated your friends to death so they voted
2) you've got no other talent except the above-mentioned statement number one

seriously we all shld show of force and kelong a crap photo to win. we need to get the idea across that facebook competitions are not the way to go if u wanan promote photography.

lol get the whole of CS to vote for a pic that is the furthest away from the given theme, and all the technicals just down the drain one. Or we post a pic, just photoshop one white background, and get the whole of CS to vote. See what they do :bsmilie:
