Yup. For solid ND then just use the screw on type, the square ones more expensive (unless you want to get the not so good ones lah)

If i not wrong, they did some comparison of shots taken with B+ ND110, Lee Big Stopper, and Hoya ND8... and IMHO, B+W ND110 is better

Erm... don't know whether do you take this as a compliment or offence, but at first look, it gave me the impression that it was rendered using software. Very tidy.

The cloud is just something i notice but cannot be controlled so can do with or without.:sweat: Hmm since the line is included it should lead to something right? Cos it draws the attention away from the buildings and lead your eyes to other places.

Hmm for graduated filters got cheap got not cheap, depends on how particular your are but i think best option would be Cokin holder with Tianya filters. My friend's Tianya holder dropped out when he's pointing the camera out of a window, lucky didn't whack anyone:sweat:

Nah it's a criteria for judging any shot

I feel that it detracts the viewer from the main subject/s, which is/are the buildings. That's why I found it a bit weird to force myself to focus on the buildings, as my eyes naturally lead me to the line after taking a glance at the buildings, and to err...nowhere lol

Actually if the dynamic range isn't too huge I still prefer to shoot RAW then PP the graduated filter, much more flexible with the direction, position of gradient, colour of gradient, intensity of colour of gradient, no. of stops of light cut.

Hmm... I feel the building (which is the main attraction) had already did its job because that's the first thing my eyes are attracted to... the line didn't have much effect of distracting me... Is it because I'm not a landscape photographer?!? :bigeyes:
