Shot at 1/5sec shutter speed wide open without flash. Totally surprised it came out this sharp.

Was pure dumb luck. When I pressed the shutter there I was like "Holy shiat, how long is the exposure on this one?!" Until now I have been unable to get a steady shot on exposure time more than 1/10 without a stable platform.

And naturally, after doing it once I am totally unable to do it again :bsmilie:

Any tips on how to handle those kinds of exposures?

Was pure dumb luck. When I pressed the shutter there I was like "Holy shiat, how long is the exposure on this one?!" Until now I have been unable to get a steady shot on exposure time less that 1/10 without a stable platform.

And naturally, after doing it once I am totally unable to do it again :bsmilie:

Use a flash. :bsmilie: you probably got this shot because of some of the other flashes were fired at the time you took it.

Boost ISO or open up yr aperture

Will a flash compensate for the possible camera shake due to 1/5sec exposure?

Lol, I dunno how to use flash properly... don't even have an external unit yet lol.

yes... i was just commenting on the technical part of her martial arts posture. face should be looking forward, not downward, both weapons should be higher straight level, and she should be wearing traditional Chinese trouser de. LOL

lol... With regards to girls... their limbs are actually impervious to damage which is why they can bare it out. :bsmilie:

I just realise i have a bad habit of AF again after i got the focus correctly which results in half of my shots being OOF. -o- Sian 1/2....
