Just thought to share some shots from my Diana F+ (which was my first Lomography/toy camera)
*With regard to the title: Not saying that my photos are superb or anything - just wanted a nice looking/sounding title :p

I will start from the beginning when I first started...

All comments or suggestions are welcomed!

You can go online and check what Holga / Diana specs are like.

Both camera are excellent for beginners or pro lomographers in my opinion.

Some interesting things about holga/diana:

Holga:
-Prone to Light Leaks (this can be awesome)
-Lightweight
-Accessories

Diana:
-More settings to play with (Aperture, Pinhole setting)
-Lightweight
-Tonnes of Accessories

:)

@Playitsafe - I think @zeehamzah has answered all the basics, or you can read here for a comparison between a Diana F+ and a Holga 120. Anyway, the photo you posted, is it yours? What camera/film did u shoot it with?

The very first of my 'double exposure' experiments...

Thanks :) I took it at some school in batam it was my second roll shot with the holga luckily some of it came out pretty decent. With loads of cropping.

Cool, you could just walk into the school and snap?! Or were you on a school exchange trip or something?

It was a school trip so while playing with them halfway i took the opportunity to snap some photos. What film do you recommend?

Awesome!! Such chances do not always come by.. Films... Hmmm for Diana (and most toy cameras) I go for color films, slides if possible... :) I think Kodak Elitechrome are very nice when cross-processed, bluish colors which I find more appealing compared to some films that give greenish colors etc. But, everyone has different preferences.

is afga px 100 B&w?

Yes, it is. That was my very first roll of b/w film. haha :bsmilie:

All these are shot with a 35mm back, which I had a hard time trying to frame what I wanna shot cos I didn't understand how exactly it worked... Needs a little getting used to. :p

Woah! Holga give nice contrast on this.
Is your ILFORD fresh or expired?
