Practically every new gimbal released in the past year has a 45 degree arm on the side. The rationale:to give operator an unblocked view of the LCD.
However, when used underslung , the 45 degree arm will crash into the top of bigger lenses. Operators are now holding the handle parallell to the ground to avoid mishaps.
This is a very strenuous way to support the system.
The problem is so real that companies are making grips like this. I look forward to the end of this insanity.
