Outstanding!

Well, it seems that other forums are ok with photo sharing while sony is not? Sort of double standard to me..

I concur, but let's not remind them shall we?

Bros, I've actually asked one of the moderators about these photo threads in private:

To keep this photo thread legit as part of a Equipment discussion forum (not gallery)

Please provide equipment details, and ideally, Technical details of your photos with you post them. That's how the photo threads running on other forums are kept open - because they post equipment and/or technical details with most photos. Let us do ours this way too.

Here's my contribution:

some of these photos are all about trying sony camera + sony lenses
for darkning the surrounding so the main object become more outstanding

#22 Family Walk (Tampines Market, Singapore)

I just tried using sony camera + sony lens for doing snap shot
at afternon time and try to darken the environment (surrounding)
so the main object can be outstanding (using the afternoon light).

Sony DSLR-A900 + Sony 500 mm Reflected F/8
Exposure: 0.003 sec (1/320)
Aperture: f/8.0
Focal Length: 500 mm
ISO Speed: 250
Flash: Off

#23 Color of The Sun (Punggol Beach, Singapore)

I also tried to capture the sunset with sony tele lens. for this shot, i chose
the clear filter, not ND filter (that comed together with the lense) and waiting
for the thin /soft cloud that facing the sun, so the light become softer and
more colourful. i make the exposure become darker so the sun not to overlight.
the only filter that i need for this shot is only the thin / soft cloud ;p

Sony DSLR-A900 + Sony 500 mm Reflected F/8
Exposure: 0.004 sec (1/250)
Aperture: f/8.0
Focal Length: 500 mm
ISO Speed: 100
Exposure Bias: -1.3 EV
Flash: Off, Did not fire

#24 Light of Exit Stair (Old School, Mount Sophia, Singapore)

almost the same with previous shot #22, i tried to make the surrounding
become darken and only the main focus is light.

Sony DSLR-A900 + CZ 16-35 mm F/2.8
Exposure: 0.01 sec (1/100)
Aperture: f/2.8
Focal Length: 30 mm
