you do loose one stop of light with a CP...and UV spoiled/scratched, not so heart pain :D
 

ok, now i understand that the CP will cause 1 or 2 stop down. So, to shoot a pic fast, UV is better. and since the CP is more expensive than UV, it's better to attach UV to protect the lence. Thnks

Not only that. Sometimes CPL can take off the effects that you want to show in your photos, i.e. reflections :)
