alright guys, been quiet for a few years since k5iis but full frame k1 is just too tempting trying to save up enough to get the k1 + 15-30mm 2.8 which will replace my 16-50mm DA at the wide angle end. seems like there is no stock at local shops though? anyone have recommendations where would be a good place to purchase?

Hi - thought I saw one piece 15 - 30 at TK Foto on Monday - just confirmed via phone they still have it. Don't think they have the K1, but I think SLRR may have one.

Walking about carrying the K1 WITHOUT a tripod/monopod is NO JOKE.
Coming from another system (and the K1 first), I find the K70 easier to learn - was a bit lost at Chinatown because I didn't know how to set the K1 back to AUTO :bigeyesno worries).
I'm also more confident with the K1 now.

haha..i know how you feel..sometimes i prefer to bring my ks2 out instead of k1..shoot more with your k1 and k70 and you get familiar with it

i was at the SLR main shop last sat..dun think i saw the k1 or the dfa15-30 there..but i did see the k1 and dfa 15-30 in TK a few weeks back
