Next level is to take more feel images.. hehe..

Seeing people works and mine, can see there's differences. They can make it happen without strobe/light and create feel images. Tonal of images also.. lots to learn

In my personal opinion, this is a very under appreciated lens. Its portable, produces good colours, most importantly price is not too high. Give the lens some consideration, should one happen to be available for sale

the k135 f2.5 is really an underrated lens.very contrasty and vibrant colour..i own it twice and sold off both times..first time i sold it because i was trying to consolidate my lenses and sell away those MF lens..regretted it and bought it back again...but eventually decide to sell it off as i already own the DA*50-135 and no pentax ff was in sight then..

Actually I have all 3 versions


Super Takumar 135/2.5 v1

'Pundits' say its the weaker version, but I totally disagree unless they are talking about shooting brick wall or newspaper on the wall.
A less contrasty (though still plenty), gentler look compared to the SMC versions.


Super Takumar 135/2.5 v2

The later version.
Same formula as the later K version.
The same sort of richer color and strong SMC type contrast.

Indeed, the Pentax K135/2.5 (as well as the Takumar versions) are fantastic lenses, esp for the cost.
Compared to many 135mm of this timeline (yes, including other brands), they have good o/p from wide open, consistent color, good bokeh in more situations and very reliable SMC coating.

If I am to only bring one lens and 'do it all', it might well be the K24/2.8.
Able to do this up close, wide enough for most wide shots and a nice rendering when used in that f3.5-f4 range for people shots.
