The 31 really shines on the K1.

I shot my 35 Mamiya Sekor on the 2X crop today. Not a bad lens for 5 bucks. Probably shouldn't head and shoulder shoot it on a portrait...f8 and forget it.

Patriarch of my wife's family in his late 90's. I asked him how he was today and he said he has been feeling great other than almost all of his friends are gone.

Thanks for your comment. I gave $20 for the Mak and I am extremely pleased with lens in performance and build. It is built as solid as they come. One thing I have come to learn from my limited experience with K and M42 glass is they are just as good performers as my Nikkors and that is even being shot through adapter and m43. Eventually I'll have Pentax crop or ff camera and they will be even better I am sure. I am so glad I held onto some of them.

Sometimes the most well built items get laid aside to collect dust and demise. They are unused...with a purpose...but yet they sit on the shelf or are tucked away in some dark corner where no one visits that often. Then one day someone brings them out of their confinement and sometimes they are put for sale at ridiculously low prices for what they truly are. I bought this ride today at the flea market for $25 plus sales tax. I also bought the 55 Super Takumar used to make these snaps at the same place many months back for $5. It is a treasure as well. Both objects will be brought back to life so to speak and used. They don't build stuff like they used to.

Yes Jay sometimes I can find good stuff for peanuts! One man's trash is another man's treasure so they say.

I'm still waiting to find a needle in the haystack like our good bud JK however. My Pentax 110 kit is closest I have come.

I agree with u. I am also collecting series each 1 to 2 pieces such as m42, K, M, A, etc...sure will shine again on new FF...
