The Pentax K and M42 lens club

Yep it is one highly rated lens in Pentax forum. Up there with the best.

Like what Ranchy said, there are many 35mm options and the buying public has over time been influenced that a "good lens is a fast lens", so a slower lens on paper often looses out.

All I can say is to take more photos and showcase them and perhaps perceptions will change. :)
Thats all we can do as owners/users of these lenses.

Good effect even when the bkgnd is so near.
I also like this one for the bright colorful theme of the model and how it jives with the colorful/brighter bkgnd.

Great job.

Yes totally agree with you JK.

Anyway it is not too expensive to hold on. Will definitely post more pics taken with these legacy lenses.

One of my favourite K series lens - the K 30mm f2.8

Waaa...k30 is another nice lens..seem like u got quite a few nice legacy lenses

haha I sold one copy, put this spare copy up for sale but no taker also haha.
Was thinking of funding for the 31mm ltd if I ever sold the 30 and 35.

Often, the modern conspicuous consumption society misconception is that when new lenses come out, old ones somehow turn to junk.
Each lens is different and each can have its own qualities that the user can find inspiration working with.
The Takumar 100/2 is certainly one of them.

Had not used this lens on APSC due to the focal length then. Now take it out more often, mounted on K1. Its been overshadowed by the more popular FA 31mm. Nontheless I still find it very flexible and usable in my situations @ 35mm.

infamous red dress... :)

Damn.

Stranger, stop and wish me well,
Just a prayer for my soul in Hell.
I was a good fellow, most people said,
Betrayed by a woman all dressed in red.
