I m back! Still trying to complete Hotel Dusk Room 215, I personally feel its better than Pheonix Wright. Thinking of getting the new game, Planet Puzzle League..

I just brought the mario vs DK 2. Completes 5 stages and all are having gold stars. Seem like a easy puzzle game to me, haha! :bsmilie: ;p

Games Owned :

TS Golf, Mario Bros 3, Animal Crossing, Puzzle Quest, EBA, Castlevania, Lunar Knight, Yoshi Island, Mario Kart.

Lunar Knight and Yoshi Island haven't complete. The rest, either complete at normal level or still playing. TS Golf been sleep since EBA, haha! :bsmilie:

Great! A NDS discussion thread.

I'm currently playing Animal Crossing, took me a while to get the hang of fishing, I didnt know when to hit button A (reel the fish in), then I tried something and got a >90% hit rate... for those struggling, the key is to use your ears and not your eyes.

1) Use a earphone for your set so you can hear the music clearly.

2) When the fish nibbles at the bait, you will not hear any sound above the background music, do NOT hit button A yet.

3) When you hear a distinctive 'splosh' sound, it means the fish bit the bait! Hit button A. That should reel in the fish! I've even tried closing my eyes to focus my hearing, works really well.:sweatsm:

Since I tried this, I've gotten more than 20 fishes in a row, with only one failure, cause it was a really BIG fish shadow and I got too excited and mis-time my actions.:bsmilie:

Wa! Eng version is abt 4 mths of delay from Jap version. Take this game, Donkey Kong Jungle Climber, for example. I saw it was sold from a website but I go to gamespot.com, they say it will be release on 1st Jan 08! Time to pick up jap n be advance in the future? :think:

there is like recipe, travel map.. language learning thing but all in japanese..ha, over 1 thousand games.. but those real interesting games are in japanese..ha.

Hi CSnappers!
I just bought my red DS two weeks ago. Being the second handheld game console that I have so far (my first one was the 1st generation Gameboy), I'm very excited about the games that I can play on my DS.

Problem is with so many selections to choose from, I'm very confused about which game to buy! Reason being I just started playing video games (on my Wii) only 5 months ago and I'm what you would call a newbie.

My sister and I agreed we should keep the fast-pacing action games such as Resident Evil for the Wii (feels better playing on the TV) and have more cute kiddy games like Super Mario for the DS. We missed the old Super Mario that we had on the Gameboy where it's much simpler. Both of us tried playing my friend's Super Paper Mario on the Wii and we don't really like it... And given that there's quite a few Super Mario titles out there for the DS plus their spin-offs (e.g. Yoshi Island, DK etc etc), I really don't know which title I should get.

Of course, I am also looking at other titles other than Super Mario.

At the moment, I only have Brain Age 2 and Bleach. Hahaha... I know... quite sad but I can't complain since I'm only into my 2nd week with my DS.

So any recommendations?

as for what games are available, just go to the shops and take a look at what is interesting. read up about the game online to make your decision. got a couple of games if you are interested to try it out.
