was at TK photo to enquire about the price.....quoted $2279 i think, the pre order price. and the salesman said the 50-140 flying off the shelves despite the expensive price. Left one piece. got quoted less than $2199 at another shop , also left one piece. or each shop also carrying only one piece in their inventory ? :bsmilie:

Why Singapore selling so much higher than Malaysia? I got my XT1, 23mm in Malaysia as its cover international warranty.
For the XF50140, i just quoted S$1XXX after converted to SGD from RM

For those interested in buying in Malaysia, I was told by Fujifilm singapore you need to register the warranty in Malaysia, will be regarded as International warranty. Keep the receipt and warranty card for verification purposes when you bring your equipment for service in Singapore.

The J shop at angsana. i think it's a bit out of the way if not driving.

any camera shop to recommend nearer to the causeway in JB that is easy to access by public transport ?

Brought mine in Australia for A$17XX after $200 cash back. Claimed 10% TSR (GST) at the airport. A$ exhange rate is 1.1, so it cost about S$17xx. Singapore is very x place for photo equips.

Yup... I was quoted $1270 for the 55-200mm. The JB shop quoted me $719... A huge difference.

Has anyone bought from shashinki ? price of the xf50-140 going for $16xx after conversion. how to deal with them if you are from singapore and no residential address in JB ?

Tried to deal with Johan but they are quite a pain and does not really seem interested.
