The Milky Way with Pentax K-x Kit lens


Hi people, thanks for all the feedback and comments.

As for why i do 20 light and 10 dark images?
as the number of individual shots increases, the more detail you get. (example, the white light of stars get brighter)
Dark frames are used in the stacking process to remove sensor noise and hot pixels. This is the equivalent of having in camera long exposure noise reduction turned on but allows you to spend more time capturing light frames.

The PP was done swiftly and based on the appeal to me. I will do up a better one when i got time and print it out as a Wall Art:) Thanks for the feedback that its too red! i also feel that way too. In reality, the milky way i saw had no colour but light green/yellow and grey
