The only thing that i found the production did not wear gloves during the assembly.
I came from an cleanroom environment workfloor. Such a delicate piece of equipment and assembly reqires no gloves feels bit strange for me.
 

Gloves are necessary for lenses. In Cosina, they wear "finger gloves" not those full hand gloves. Actually wearing full hand gloves will hinder the operation as it will compromise on the delicate feel required on the assembly the camera and parts.

Beside, wearing gloves also cause the hand to perspire. That's pretty harmful for parts and optics. :)

Production run for the M cameras are pretty low, 100 to 150 a month... even with Japan being such a big market... hmm.... Not sure how many we sell in Singapore a month...

I was shocked at the low production numbers too! 100-150 per month is absurdly low... but that only makes our Leica feel even more special!
