As Dr Pearl said, you try. Trying gets you nowhere. Believe me, I know. How will it feel if the girl you liked for the longest possible time got married? And when you know about it, it is too late? guys perspective. NEVER SHOW UP EMPTY HANDED. Unless you want to spoil your chances. A heart shaped silver pendant will be overkill, if you only just knew her. Things are different if you knew her for a while and wanted to express your feelings for her. If you just know her, a least a box of chocs. Flowers passe and some girls dun like flowers. Keep it simple. If you are getting her a box of chocs, at the same time, praline fillings or without is also a consideration. What are her tastes?

As it's still an amateur state of affair, a heart shaped SILVER pendant will not be an overkill. Notice i hightlighted the world SILVER and not heart shaped.
