might be a little late on this one, but i see a lot of potential for this shot.

consider reframing it? i can imagine the idea of the small patch of trees surrounded by hdbs. it would be really interesting, a garden in a concrete jungle. without the 2 odd edges and the metal railing, i think will be a great shot

Thanks for the input Allen. Next time I'll zoom in to remove those elements. I agree that they don't do anything to beautify the photo.

Interestingly, I always get comments everytime I post this photo (even featured in a website) when this spot is where I do my 'I-wanna-shoot-but-I-can't-go-out' shots. It's just right outside my window.

Funny how we photographers go to lengths just to nail that elusive winning shot when sometimes it's just right under our nose, no? :)

:) sometimes we dun have to go that extra mile to seek for photos. people complain SG nothing to shoot, everyone wants to run to London, Paris, or some Australian beach to shoot beautiful scenary.

sometimes, turning the camera back, and shooting home can be as pleasing :) i think its more challenging to be able to shoot home.

(ps dun have to zoom la. i think u can maybe find another angle. zooming will lose the feel of the towering buildings over the park)

That metal railing I can get rid of by leaning forward a bit more, but the odd edges are actually the walls of my building. No choice but to zoom in to cut them off. Maybe I'll do it in portrait orientation to retain the towering feel. Let's see what I can cook up. Again, thanks for the input. I always appreciate a nice critique. :)
