There are so many good DLRs and mirrorless for filmmaking today but all of them just fall short by a few nice-to-have features that will them almost perfect. Here's a short list that just makes me go "DAMN!" . Feel free to add your ideal cameras.

FS5...with Olympus' IBIS
C300... with the price tag of C100
A7S II... with unlimited recording
GH4,,,with ISO 512000
EOS 80d... with focus peaking/expanded focus
EM5 II...with Dual Pixel AF

hahaha nice thread...

Pocket with 2.5K & SDI

I vote for 10hr battery endurance for all. :D

I just want feather weight and pocket size...haha

GH5 coming ... with probably 1-2 stops improvement (especially in low light) @ $2k?
C100 Mark 3 coming ... with 4k @$5k?
5D4 coming ... with 4k and 1-2 stops improvement in DR @$4k?
A7S III (unknown) but there's really nothing much to change except for the recording limit which is due to laws & maybe overheating.
Fuji Xt2 ... looks like a great light weight 4k camera with beautiful fuji colors.

Does the hack work?
Any issues with noise and overheating?
Did you use a mac or PC to install the firmware?
Review please!

I got a Friend who did it to his a7s. It worked pretty well.

It works on all Sony android-based cameras. It is an android app to be installed and run. Install it from the website via a browser.
Nothing much to review on it. It just... allow continuous recording. I.e. an RX10M3 becomes a 50X zoom camcorder (with clear image zoom that is).
It is not the root cause of overheating. Overheating happens differently for different cams with different settings and different card speeds.
