This is pretty well captured, the soft mystic feel, and the light behind the statue
Thanks..
But this is simply :thumbsup::thumbsup:! u mean the bits of lights were a result of shooting at largest aperture or was there some reflection that u took advantage of ?

This pic was basically 2 shots superimposed on each other. But they were taken at the same scene with a tripod. Basically I took a normal one, then as I was using a 50mm f/1.4, I set the aperture to 1.4 and made it out of focus to create the bokeh of lights from the buildings, then I got home to stick them together and adjust the opacity..
This is simply inspirational. Will love to try it someday. I also like the classy look of most of your works, even the choice of frames is spot on.

i actually love hong kong with fog/smog.. it becomes so much cooler and less typical asian-city-like.When I went in March, it was foggy throughout.. To the point I cldnt see Hongkong island from Tsim Sha Tsui at times.. It couldnt be smog as I doubt smog will reach Lantau island.. I just came back last week hence there were some clear sunny days.
Thanks!!
Enjoying bits of it!
Excellent.....
SUPERB!!
How'd you manage this shot?
i am wondering if you could try changing the wb for the bokeh shot to something warmer and see how it looks.
i like the idea, but the overpowering presence of magenta in the resultant picture is killing me!

anyways, not sure if i like the use of the magenta gnd filter (or addition of it in post)
i am thinking for the shots in post #15 (the view from victoria peak), the top space could be removed to give a panoramic/semipano crop for a better use of space.
