You rock!! ha ha ha... I had a good laugh... and thanks for those who turned up... thanks for coming down. Unfortunately, drakon09 had to nurse his cold, hope he is feeling better, and missed Mark as he had family commitments. (Wanted to destroy his 35-100mm)... ha ha ha... And thanks to NatureTTL for bringing his 150mm Macro lens again and letting the boys have a go at it... and showing me a good use for the 30mm! 4.5x magnification! Wow!

I wish more have attended so that everyone gets familiar with one another and in future, I will not be the one hosting. It will be everyone contributing their share...

And of course, special thanks to Canon rep and Nikon rep for turning up... (just kidding fellas). Great to have you guys here. "Nikon rep" : Tempting eh... I can wash my E-1 in front of you again if you are not convinced... maybe I should do ketchup first, then wash then dry... ha ha ha...

Looking forward to the grips preview in mid August! That is going to be fun (pending on whether you get bitten by the BBB bug)...

thanks for time today, good to have these kopi sessions. looking forward to the next one

The easier reads will be Michael Freeman, available (the only place I saw them) were from MPH at City Hall. Instead of spending your money, why not go to the National Library at Bras Basah and borrow them instead? Afterall, you don't need to keep the books at home and take up space. Just a suggestion. Photography techniques as never changed, just that the technology did. The best thing is to get the fundamentals of photography and the capture of light correct... technology wise, RTFM they say... LOL.

No worries mate... you buy coffee the next time...

Well, since this kopi session is over, its time to close the thread. Starting the next one when the date is more set. By the way, I will do a poll on the day that is most convenient for everyone... so check out the new thread. Cheers and thanks to those who came, contributed and entertained (our Nikon representative who is about to buy his first Olympus system)...

Looking forward to meeting more of you folks soon, and also, thanks for the understanding that the Silkypix demo was cancelled because drakon09 was down with a serious cold. Hope he recovers soon.

Thank you everyone.
