nah. in the extended universe stories, obi wan and yoda apprentice themselves to qui gon-jin in becoming one with the Force. by right, once a jedi dies he's gone. but, becos qui gon-jin is a maverick (the explanation is bloody tedious. just sufice to say he's more of the 'looking at present' kind of Force user) dats why he is able to retain his identity using the Force. remember he whispered into yoda's ears during EpII? this was supposed to be explained in EpIII. however, according to fan sites, this scene never made the cut.

Hahahaha.... The Sith had manifested their powers before me. Impressed with the power of the Dark Side I am.... Explained most things are.

Actually, I would think it is more like Qui Gon Jin passed the skills to Yoda, and Yoda passed the skills to Obi Wan. That was when Yoda realised that all the Jedis were killed left him and Obi Wan. He wanted both to lie low and wait for a better opportunity to fight back again.

remake the original trilogy? that will be a terrible thing to do... what? more bad acting, cheesy dialogue and poor on screen chemistry between the lovers?

imo, the OT is good as it is, mainly because of the charm exuded by the 3 main characters, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia and Han Solo... simply unbeatable.

a sequel trilogy aka ep789 will be interesting though, but by the time they are out, how many of us will be around? :bsmilie:

No, if there is to be an ep 7, it will be a story of how Luke Skywalker restore the Jedi Order and faces new enemies in the form of the Dark Jedis trained by the Emperor and Darth Vader.

But Lucas had already stated that he will not be making Ep789, too tired, but it is hard to say.
