Anyone else wanna share their flip-it pix?

was wondering too...generally saw more of the recommendation and rave reviews for ls pj2
other than the ts own review seldom saw any coming for flip it

haha... maybe flip-it! need more marketing :P

Does flip-it comes with a manual?

Yes, it does, simple one.

This Flip-It is now my main DSLR flash bounce accessory, I have the Jumbo version. On a DSLR, I definitely prefer it over my current Lumiquest Promax or either Lightsphere models I had before.

Its greatest strength is the greater degree in controlling or fine-tuning the flash bounce compared to the others mentioned, even without moving the flash, just the Flip-It. Of course, one can still rotate the flash around.

This, however, can also be its "weakness", as the greater degree of adjustment can leave one with many choices or even get it wrong. One just has to gain from experience.

And this is why I associated its use with DSLR. On my film cameras, I'd rather use the Lumiquest with diffusor, as there is limited control, and is easy to predict more consistent results. Using the Flip-It with DSLRs, one can immediately see whether the Flip-It adjustment is suitable or needs further fine-tuning, unlike film cameras without Polaroid or digital backs.

One can actually DIY this, but for those who are not inclined, those who would just rather accept a finished product, I would say Recommended .

Want to ask, can the Flip-it work with the Nikon SB400 speedlight? I ask becos the SB400 is designed differently to the 600 and 800...

dang... those "my little pony" ponies look REALLY 3-D !!!

Got mine already but haven't had a chance to properly put it through it's paces yet. However, one thing I don't like is that the velcro used tends to 'shed' a lot of small fibers. Hopefully none will get into the camera or lenses....

Don't worry man!

do you have a flip-it pro jr? i.e flip-it jr with the front diffusser

I'm not sure if there are any jrs at the moment :) have to check. meanwhile, the standard Pro is a good option :D

Standard is a bit big to fit my slingshot 100 and i dun want to attract to much attention ;p
It is not listed on the website. Does it fit a Sigma 500 Super?
Any chance of bringing it in?
