The majority that wants to do what they wanna do we leave alone because why waste energy preaching to them when they're not gonna listen? I'd rather use that energy to go out and shoot more worthwhile subjects. Its both picking and choosing your battles and not forcing your beliefs on people who dun wanna listen.

Wow. Must be because of GSS, latest market rate is $40 for 6 XMMs (including 3 TFCD :dunno.

I have nothing against the organizers making money. That is fine. Making money is everyone's right.

However, I have a major problem with how people approach shooting model these days. It is definitely not photography, definitely not creativity, and the end result is absolutely horrific.

Just take it easy..... majority of photos in CS are only snap shot, not even photography, so don't talk about creativity.

Most of the people are blinded with sugar coated comments.
Sometime i told myself i making a fool of myself by giving true C&C to a lousy photo when the whole thread is surrounded with praises. That why i don't really give C&C now.

To majority of CSers, photography is just a hobby, some got passion, some just wanted to act pro to boost their ego. Sadly i personally felt that the later is the majority.

remember to set to auto mode, continuous high speed shooting mode, 51 AF points, RAW mode, a few 16GB CF cards, battery grip fully charge, turbo battery pack for flash, also bring notebook or image bank to download on the spot, in case run out CF cards.

also bring along a voice recorder, you will be too busy to ask for the model's name, and also can't remember all of them.
