ok... hope u guys can click here to give me a hand and a pointer or two with regards to this film...

Hi Kairin,

I could be wrong, but I guess that the picture shows an exposed roll of 120 Fuji NPS/NPC ? Most decent photolab, such as Ruby at Peninsular or RGB at Beach Road, should be able to process and print/scan for you, but I am not sure about the printing cost though. Someone in this thread mentioned that a roll of 120 Fuji NPS costs SGD3.70, so I guess that's quite cheap.

B/W is even cheaper. Film is only $4.00 (according to Streetshooter, but I use expired ones, lagi cheap) and processing b/w film is only about 50 cents per roll for the chemicals..
.. if you chose Mamiya 7, don't forget to try the 220 films, very few MF cameras takes these rolls. I get them (mostly going to expire or expired ones) from ebay. It gives you 'plenty' 18 lovely street shots.

Hmm

Greg :)

Mamiya 645 (change the insert ?), Mamiya RZ, Mamiya Press (from the 60's just switch the pressure plate), Contax 645 (just turn the switch of the film back to 220), etc etc..

I thought most MF cameras can use 220.. which ones do not use the 220? ;)

The most obvious advantage of shooting slides with MF is that it's cheap to process i.e. about $4-5/roll. The slides are big enough to view on a simple lightbox... and if you like a particular shot, then print it out (about $1? for 4R) ... or go straight to enlargements. If you shoot enough, this is more economical than print film.
