The light wasn't so good when you took these shots? The IR effect doesn't seem too pronounced, hence my query. :)

Yes sir, I agree with you that the lighting was insufficient and try very hard in saturation and color balance. Thanks Edutilos for giving me an idea for the lack of skill in PP. Once again thanks for the comments and will take note of it.;p

Hi cpark188, not sure if you get my point - no amount of PP will help with lacklustre lighting. If you see my recent IR postings, good light (i.e. strong sun) will play a part in enhancing the beauty of these IR images. Sometimes one has to make a judgement call as to whether to post photographs as they are, or go back for a reshoot. :) Cheers!

Thanks "Edutilos" for the comments and will help me to improve my Infrared Photography.

Using my Olympus SP 550UZ converted to full spectrum and pictures was taken from BBNP during the late morning time. I am using the software "Gimp" to do the PP and touch up with Paint.net and Picasa. Sometime I used difference setting to capture images and try out the false color for the result. Now I'm trying to post some images to this forum using another URL to link here.

:what:This was taken sometime back in December 2012, at that time was not familiar with P-processing. Now that I re-editing the false color and trying to improve the lacklustre lighting, hope to learn more on Post Processing.

IR #12. Confucian Statue and Pagoda.

Hello cpark188,

Of your collection, I particularly enjoy these two.
In these shots, you have brought out the characteristic of IR in the foliage, which is its most expressive aspect.
I like no. 12 because of its composition with the silhouette of the statue watching over the pagoda.
Keep up the good work, cpark188!

Yours sincerely,

limwhow

Hi Bro. Limwhow, thanks for your visit to my thread. It's my pleasure of receiving your nice words, indeed still plenty rooms for me to learn.
I read many of your good articles here on clubsnap about your travelogue which inspired me. Once again thank you and nice to hear from you.

2 days ago went back to Chinese Garden to re-take my Infrared Photography, I realize that the CWB setting is very important.
If I got it right, it is very easy to PP and if not got to spent hours in the computer. Anyway, still work hard and take it as hobby.

IR # 17. Where is my home?

IR # 18. Statue Of Guan Yu. Title. The Sun Shine behind Guan Yu. ( The powerful man in History.)

IR # 19. The runaway cattle.
