D100 is not that expensive. Can be bought at below RM7k in Malaysia now. S2Pro is still at around S$3.6~3.7k.

my question is,

can I use my current lense of my Nikon N60 on the new DSLR ?? are the the same mount?

The price CP quoted you must've been exclusive of GST. I pressed them real hard and managed to get it down to $3700 all in cash and carry. $3600 w/GST isnt likely. :)

Hi

D60 body at CP for $3600 + gst.

What do you get for that besides the body? Is the battery included? An A/C adaptor? Anything else?

Thanks

Tim

If you consider the Oly E10 a digital SLR (actually, it IS, just that you can't change lenses), then you can have one for just $1699 if you trade in "any" camera.

CP quoted price is inclusive of GST! They quoted me through email.

D60 - $3600
1D - $9800

I beg to differ, CP always quote without GST via their e-quote (email).

"Price : nett and subject to 3% GST
Delivery : ex-stock subject to prior sales, unless otherwise stated.
Terms of Payment : Cash / Net"

I concur. For CP's equotes, you need to add in an additional 3% for GST and 5% next year....
