WAH! Nice! ART!

china is buying over hummer! maybe next time the tank-like vehicle will be called "har ma" (toad).

:bsmilie: That's a good one! Maybe it will run on vegetable oil and house flies...

Try searching the web for Mamiya Rangefinder 6 or 7 or 7ii 6x7 cameras.
It's MF and light, not the best, but damn close. The 6th series has better camera quality, but the 7th has the 43mm lens (equivalent to 21mm in 35mm). The 6th's widest lens is 50mm i think.

U mean the Graflex???? Aiyo! Bring out to shoot lah! It's got a superb lens!

The best and light weight .. well, despite being mentioned a few times, that is defenitely not a Hasselblad. Although subjective, Rolleiflex is the name of the game. Top glass on the more recent series and perfectly balanced in weight.

Don't say best.
Emotive.
As long as you like it, good enough.

This thread has spurred me to dust off my Holga and stick a roll of film in to shoot something ! I'm also playing with a Rolleiflex, but that Holga, with the right expectations set, is a fun camera.

My vote.... Pentax 645 ;)

Very SLR-ish. If you have used a film SLR, this should be a snap to use - just need to figure out the film loading and away you go.

The downside is that the power winder is truly loud and you can't disable it (there isn't an option for manual film advance). Your subject KNOWS when you are around ;)

Try ZeroImage PinHole MF cameras!...less than US$200 ...no lens, no headache, no need CLA.
Light, Cheat and BEST because really zero barrel distortion for super wide angle shots! Hahahaha
Seriously, google "zeroimage pinhole" to findout more :)

I love the Rolleicords :). Sure, Rolleiflexes are beautiful cameras and you can't go wrong with them but I'm not that rich

Funny, people fork out money for FF camera's like there is no tomorrow but getting a decent Planar Rollei is all of a sudden a large investment ... I would say between 800 and 4500 US, depending on what you are looking for. I own a GX that cost me 1800 US, still much cheaper then a Canon Mark whatever.
