#OpenCall: The 9th France + Singapore Photographic Arts Award (FSPAA) -
The award that aims to feature #French and #Singaporean professional artists. Providing a platform to showcase their creative talents to an international audience, this award raises awareness of the experimental and emerging styles of #photographic #art. It is also organized to promote the exchange of #artistic knowledge, experiences, and ideas between the #artists from France and Singapore.
The Theme: #Interculturalism
The Criteria:
– You have to be a French or Singaporean citizen (including PR) to be eligible.
– Below 40 years old.
– The artworks need to be relevant to the theme of the competition (the relevance should be explained in the artist statement)
– The complete proposal (with all the necessary contents included) needs to be submitted before the DEADLINE: 30 November #2018.
The Proposal Content:
1. Letter of interest and Artist Statement:
- Explain the concept of your artwork / relevance to the theme.
- 250 – 350 words
- Word document format
2. Artist Biography:
- 250 – 350 words
- Word document format
3. Curriculum Vitae:
- 1 page
- State your educational background and previous exhibitions
- Word document format
4. Photographs:
-Soft copy
- High resolution
- You can submit 3-6 photos in your proposal, but only 3 photos will be selected for the group exhibition
(Alliance Française will be in charge of printing, framing and putting up the artworks in the group exhibition)
