For those who are not familiar in Bangkok, here is some tips. The upcoming motorshow is in Impact, which is not inside Bangkok, it is at Muang Thong town. I saw someone stay in Asia Hotel or Suhkumit Road other hotels, u can take the BTS Skytrain to Mo Chit station (the north last station), Impact usually provide a shuttle bus from Mo Chit to Impact, it is about another 10km up north. The taxi ride from Suhkumit to Impact is around 300 Baht +- so not too expensive anyway. If your main goal is just to shoot Impact motorshow and not tour around Bangkok, u do not need to stay in Suhkumit, there are other hotels or condo apartments near Muang Thong town. The cheapest one will be those condo apartments, maybe about 1k baht, clean and safe but no luxury just a room and bed and TV.

(I now live around Muang Thong.)

Hi < who is interested in going, let join force,...PM me
