Okie guys, some updates here:
I had discussed with the organisers, YMCA, some of the issues concerned.
As mentioned, Dagger and the staff, whom I've been in contact with over at YMCA, will be working something out formally between CS and YMCA. I'll be helping with the coordination between them in the initial stage.
Just an update of the issues I had discussed with the staff and those that had been brought up in this thread:
1. Number of photographers required for each event. (Film and Digital Users)
- No. of film users most probably by restricted by the costs (maybe 1 or only 2 per event).
- No. of digital users subjected to review according to the event
2. Costs of films and developing
- By the projects' costs
3. Intellectual Property and ownership of negatives and prints.
- most probably the copyright will belong to the photographers themselves.
- But negatives and prints will belong to the organisation as they had paid for them.
4. Style/Theme of photographs
- not to show the helplessness and unfortunate situations of the people involved.
Okie, these are now for the moment, though the points raised above are not confirmed yet. More need to be worked upon.
Anyway, there'll be a camp for the Physically and Intellectually Disabled during the 4th(late afternoon) and 5th(night) of July. Those who are interested can take note of this. I hope that by then, something can be worked out formally between CS and YMCA. If not, this will only be an informal gathering of a few interested photographers to help out in the camp taking photos.
