Thanks but i think i tried alot of settings to finally get a few nice shot...........siong..........that morning alone i think i took more than 100shots then go home slowly filter. haha. Not a very good lens though, prime lens can be sharper :)

I using a 1992 Minolta 80-200 Zoom lens.

F2.8? That is a good lens.

i read somewhere that extremely small aperture will cause more harm than good to your pictures, maybe should reduce f-stop to about 16?

Actually the reason why i use small aperture is to get the starburst effect from the lightings, i did try f16 but the starburst not obvious thus the F29. ;)

:bigeyes::bigeyes:

That's a great lens!

no leh, the reason why i say no is because the technology too advanced laio haha.......the zoom and focus is Motorized type, to use manual zoom, u have to "pull the barrel" :( at 200mm widest F, the CA quite obvious also :(

Becuz of the age, the zoom motor dun engage the lens sometime especially when pointing upwards, i got to point it down to zoom again.

Ah....that's not the 80-200mm f2.8 lens. It's the kit lens for the xi film cams.

Lenrek mistake it's 2.8. hehe..........this one not good :(

I wouldn't say it's not good, but if you compare with the f2.8 one, of course there will be difference. Just know where are the shortcomings of the lens and use it to its advantage would be better. A good photographer will still be able to produce good pictures with a kit lens. ;)
