Technogadgets buying options.

From the site it seems like I need to pay full for the lens before I can even confirm the order.
Anyone has any experience with this?

I am okay with dishing out 1k on it. but arent there any other options? (paying on collection, etc, but the site states this is now not an option.)

Just saying, technogadgets have the cheapest first hand lenses I have seen, but then again, is it worth the risk? ;/

They are here for quite some time, personally i have bought two lenses and filters; no problem at all.
Just make sure you contact Mr. Tony before placing the order and ask the estimated delivery time; some times they take more than a week to deliver the item.

No problem at all. Already bought 3 items from them. The last one transacted 2.6K into Tony account. But to ensure on time delivery of some big ticket of not so popular item, drop him a mail on the delivery time. Just don't order in during festive time like X'mas and CNY, where they have one week holiday.

quick response when asking about buying something. poor response after paying the money. i'll still buy from them cos cheap, if I don't mind waiting weeks, their estimated delivery time got delayed without bothering to inform.

wow thanks alot for the replies, I think I will just go ahead and buy anyway and collect it back at the store.
Also, I PMed technogadgets and they said I could put a deposit of 100dollars and pay the rest when I go there to collect!

I guess its 10% of whatever item you're buying.
I think I'll be taking that route instead
10% seems reasonable enough

Haha. But just saying. The tamron 24-70 nikonkount on technogadgets is now 1102$. Its just soo much cheaper!

Sharing my experience, last week I tried to get Sigma Lens from Technogadgets. Need the lens within 5 working days due to important event on Sat. Due to stock availability, the lens unfortunately would not be available on time. I was informed in advance by Technogadgets and they offered option to either wait or refund me. Very great customer service, will definitely get lens from them in future.

I used credit card to pay though there is an additional charge.

Bought 1 camera body n 2 lens from there, so far so good.
