This camera is so nifty. I fits right into the situation when you do not want to make people feel nervous pointing a dSLR at them but you want a good photo. The red one especially makes your subject feel more relaxed because it looks like a toy.

It is so tempting to get one, especially the red one but I am in dilemma whether to wait for the HD version....

I am in agony. I've been infected with advanced stages of the BBB virus. It is killing me!

Someone give me a reason to buy now

A Bit OT here...

Is the G1 compatible with the Nikon SB600 / SB400 flashes?

I used the SB600 with the FZ50 some time ago, if it works then I will be getting the SB400 that will look great on the G1

Don't mind if I also OT a bit. I'm thinking of replacing my aging FZ30 with the G1, but I really miss the zoom range that I can get with the FZ30 when used with a TC17.

Have anyone tried the G1 with the new Olympus 70-300mm?

Wanted to jump in but wondering if I should wait for the G2 with video feature.

I OT abit...What kind of camera bag can put the G1 inside cos I bot the G1 so long and have not collected the bag yet(that time the shop have not gotten the bag yet) cos the journey is too far from my house.

I got the free bag, its quite big rectangular bag which I dont like at all. I bout the very nice Lowepro small bag that fits the Camera with the lens on just nice

I paid $25 for it. Will try to post a picture later tonight.

Ask them for it and the uncle there will show you the exact one. He is the one who suggested me.

The official price printed on the bag is $35 but got a "Special" discount hehe...

The EXIF value showed it is taken with manual setting 40" F11 ISO100, did you put it on tripot or on window frame?

I was wondering about the Voigtlander RF lenses... They are suppose to be Leica M mount I think :dunno:

What about the Screw mount lenses like the 50mm 1.4 Voigtlander?

They have some amazing lenses it would be too much fun to be able to use their 35 1.2!!! on the G1

LTM mount lens can convert to M mount through adapter, can get from cosina voigtlander. The waiting list for the M to m4/3 adapter seem quite long

Oh You mean have to wait in the list?

One more question... Do I still need the 4/3rd to Micro 4/3rd adapter to use the M Adapter or is there a direct adapter :dunno:
