Nice lens, how much did you get it for? These lenses are going for pretty high prices these days it's hard to get a good deal or the same price it used to be before M43.

I got this Kodak for $300, I have notice that these lens have been priced pretty high lately, probarly because of the micro four thirds system. So far I like it, but the focus ring is abit stiff. Will try it out for street photography and see how it works.

Are there any settings we need to do on the gf1 body to make it work with c-mount lens?

I tried on the pentax 25mm f1.4 but i get the error "lens not attached properly". When this message appear, everything is freeze and you cannot access any buttons at all.

I had to mount back the pancake cake lens before i can go into menu to configure the settings. I then tried to toggle on/off "shoot w/o lens" settings but it didn't work. Knowing that its a manual lens, i proceed to toggle settings like "MF assist", "AF+MF", "AF assist lamp", "Focus priority", "Pre AF", "Direct AF area" etc but nothing works either.

Is it the gf1 body or the c-mount adaptor or the pentax lens itself that is causing the error? The c-mount adaptor and pentax lens however works fine on a EP1.

very funny, i got a gf-1 with RJ c-mount adapter. no problem?

What adapter is yours?

No. Not using Rj c-mount adaptor.

So when u use Rj c-mount adaptor, did u change any settings on the gf1 body? Or is it simply plug n play kind?

Try under Custom Menu > Shoot Without Lens > ON

I remove the lens and yes shooting without any physical lens works. But somehow once c lens is mounted, it doesn't work.

likedat..try shooting with C mount only..no lens. if it's ok, I suspect something is touching the electrical contacts on the camera body at lens mount...pls check.

Try turning the Adaptor slightly, one way and then the other. When I first mounted my cmount adaptor on my GF1, it gives me a message saying my lens is not mounted properly. After turning it slightly, the image appear and everything is ok.

It seems some part of the adapter is rubbing with the contacts...pls check

Thanks for all the suggestions n advice, i have given up trying n returned the lens back.

Received my C-lens recently. It is a vintage uncoated Cooke Kinic 1 inch f1.5. This is how this tiny cute lens looks on my E-P2:
