I turn the NR off and took a shot with it. The picture look fine on my mac. So, probably the problems lie on the NR.
i am no physicist.Jim: have a read here Chromatic_Abberation on wikipedia
I agree. Though I do think that the noise reduction in the EP3 is stronger than that in the E-PL2, I don't think that it's that strong that it could cause such a problem under normal shooting conditions. It would be best that the culprit photo be posted for a better diagnosis.Hmmm...i hv been shooting with NR in default mode since ep1. I am surprised that this is the problem. In any case, watever works.
Seems that the slight warmness of the EP3 could be reduced by turning it off in the Setup Menu G under 'WB Auto - Keep Warm Color'.
Took this off the other thread. Thanks! This is a nice feature.
One more option that I found embedded in the menus is WB+flash - either off, AWB or WB flash. What this does is that when you pop the flash, no matter what WB mode you are in, you can tell the camera to go to the WB mode that you choose. This is really very useful. Often times when I shoot without flash, I am manual selecting the WB mode. And then I decide to pop the flash, and I forget to change WB to flash. Click, and my image is like blue blue blue. This is really good.

Both features are useful, thanks
You must be referring to Four Thirds and not 'micro-third' as there is no such thing as a 'micro-third' lens and a micro Four Thirds lens could not and need not be mounted on the EP3 via the MMF1 adapter. S-AF is just Single Shot AF as compared to Continuous AF (C-AF).EP-3 fitted with micro-third lens via MMF1 adaptor operates in S-AF mode (according to Oly website). What is diff bet S-AF and AF?

When I use the touch screen to select a focus point while in aperture priority mode, the live histogram disappears. The only way to get it back is to press the "ok" button but the side effect of doing so is that the focus point no longer becomes what was selected.
Also, I think the spot metering is not linked to the focus point.
How to I report these problems to Olympus? I hope Olympus can fix these 2 bugs in their next firmware release.

Canon's G11 have spot metering linked to the focus point. Very convenient. As for missing histogram problem, it can't be because Olympus wants to remove clutter cause the live histogram remains if the non-touch screen method of focus point selection is used.

Touch to select focus point, not the touch to focus and shoot mode. So essentially I'm selecting the focus point but using the touch screen to do so. The touch screen method causes the live histogram to disappear while the non touch screen method doesn't.
