Tangshooters Monthly Abstract Shoot (Jan 2009) - Curves

Noobie at abstract... all C&C will be helpful -

woofie_curve 01 - Curves round and round

I think this shot has potential. But post processing with this color tone maybe not suitable. Coz i remember this sculpture is bronze. May want to try hardening the texture and increasing the bronze contrast instead of using the current processing.

Actually spotted 2 different curves... one is the glass another is the table edge. Tipsy over the curvy edge yeh.

Hi your shots and theme caused me to think. If you shoot a straight horizontal lines with fisheye lense, it should end up curved. Can it be considered as curve to fit the theme?

If you shoot curved lines with a fisheye lense and end up it looks straight, can it still be considered as a "straightened" curve?

Just trying to think out of the box.

Its an interesting question.. For photography ( or ARTs ), there is no one answer for all.

To me, a curve is a curve, as long as what you eventually submitted is a curve, it should be consider as curve ( it doesn't matter the shape of the original subject ).
