I agree... try the dropper tool on her eyes (white part). See if it can improve.

one of the last options when there isn't any neutral things around haha but the white part of the eye also not exactly white so must just take careful note and let your eye roughly decide the 'correct' colour lor :bsmilie:

important to know what is the right white balance first. i guess from there you can start playing with colour tone adjusting to what you feel justify your needs.

basically, look for areas in the picture that are neutral or originally white and use those areas to correct the tone using the white balance dropper tool. otherwise another method i can share with you if you've got laptop, quite hard to explain over here.

Thread seemed inactive. Let me bring it up with Clara.
Hard to believe this young lady is only 16. Modeling potential is there, only time will tell. Very patient with photographers too.

Starting off my takes with Amanda. Special thanks to all the photographers and SK in my group for all the advice and help! And thanks Michael for organizing this shoot! =)

wow... i love this

thanks bro, glade you like it.

I hope I have a white reflector at the LEFT side of the model. The shadows on the model face seems a little too hush liao... should have checked my LCD screen in more details, I guess it is time for me to upgrade camera liao, my 1D mark 1 cannot zoom in and check details.... haiz....too bad.

Love this shot! Sweet sia! Yes, it wud be better if got reflector on the left, but still . I like:lovegrin:

Cheers

Errr..... guys. Anything to comment or point out on the shots that I did so that I can improve on it?

Allo buttie, here are my C&C por chiu :)

Cindy: Skin tone processing a little cool, done on purpose? Angle is nice, but perhaps cropping can be a little tighter to put emphasis on her face. PP on the bokeh can be improved, cannot lazy 1. Overall I like the expression.

Amanda: B&W or duotone might work for the mood IMO. WB again a little cool. But im viewing from my office laptop which is not calibrated yet, so i might b wrong. The difference in lighting causes a different skin tone for the left arm. Might confuse ppl thinking it belongs to another person. And the bottom right tree trunk (or wall?) is distracting. Lighting seemed flat for this.

Clara: Watch the horizon. Uneven. But i like how the background colors are split into two. Reflector can be used to give her eye life with catchlights IMO. Mild shadow can be seen, if this is intentional, it can be bolder.

Thanks, will look into it and improve. Finally got some comment. I thought my photos are rubbish until no one comments on it.

bro, mike here, for this pic.. if you can clone the lamp post to be same as the back ground will be good. :) and the left arm pit line, can crop it away jus enuff to hide the line

maybe i more picky when shooting girls, i will ask them remove unnecessary accesories that is not supposed to be there, like the rubber band on her right hand. the background kind of too many building, if possible to change an angle to that tree behind blocking the building will be less distracting.

cheers for my same name brother.. :)
