The aged tone photo has a nice tone, however it is incoherent as the building is a new one. One aspect of PP is coherence to the scene and the mood you want to convey. In this case, because the building is such a new one, the tone doesn't work for me.

Maybe its because in our mind we know its a brand new place
Thats why the attempt to make the picture look aged doesnt work well enough for this picture
