I think just use 2 wire should be good enough.

2wire don't have the cable connector (connect into SCV point)

2Wire from singnet is an ADSL wireless router. For you to use cable modem, the 2wire must be able to support full bridge mode. You check the manual see if you can turn on full bridge mode.
