hi KT,

I did tried that 85mm Nikkor-H F1.8 lens. Not bad at all. I almost get it too....:bsmilie:

congrates... This lens is usable all the way from all the way WIDE F1.8...

How high is the lightstand ,, can it hold a strobe ?

i think the highest is about 1.9-2 metres. Don't think can support strobe, its quite light weight n more for flashguns. next week I bring to show u. :D

Hello butties, i ish going simlim BBB... anyone wanna go, call me k ;p

no adaptor ar? the fellow told me got adaptor and i tot DIY master like u would have tried...:D

Err.. I am not very pro in this, my knowledge is also limited...

As far as I know, FD cannot mount onto EOS body because the lens to film distance for FD lens is suppose to be nearer. Even if you are able to get an adapter ( FD->EOS), that adapter will have some kind of glass built-in that does the adaptation for you. Which also means that there is a image quality degration.

Like wise, for those Leica M lens , you cannot mount onto DSLR also. Because the lens to film distance was design to be nearer. If you die die mount it, it will means that you cannot focus to infinity liao.

For Nikon, M42 and other lens which was designed to have a longer lens to film distance, then you should be able to find a suitable adapter ( without glass ) to use ( without any image quality compromise ).

one more thing, I do not know since when I was named "DIY master".... I am not that pro yet lah.... better keep low profile.
