chiang mai i want to go, neber been there and i heard the gals there pretty--

for holidays and exploration, chiangmai best is go Nov-Feb when weather is cool and no rainfall. also got sunflower boom season during that time.

what is the targetted dates for this trip?

if ghost phuket, i will only go for songkran. but if go chiangmai, we will rent a bike and explore mae hong son and the surroundings. but if u guys going, see if we can rent a car and DIY northern thailand for a week. the scenery around northern thailand is beautiful

When is the date for travelling to songkran, I am interested.

Songkran date ish 13/April annually.

i waiting for my kakis to confirm phuket or chiangmai..... i ish cfm ghost... no need to open response thread. if want to go, just OTOT book air tix lor, easier. cos still 10 more months, sure a lot of people change decision nearer to the date. so best is OTOT book.

if chaingmai, will be 9-17/April

If phuket can book anytime as long as got airfare promo. today tigerair promo ish around $117/nett

If chiangmai a bit hard cos only silkair flies direct and its $573. if take airasia, must wait for promo. and promo prices are usually quickly snapped up. so its a bit challenging too...
