Allooo bbbuttie, Coolsigg bbbutties ish right. Photographing charity organization is a sensitive issue. Most volunteers are not aware and may consent to it. We may end up doing them a dis-favour unknowingly....![]()

Hi Xiang Zheng,
We would be able to accommodate your group, but need your cooperation on a few things:
- Please move as a group instead of in separate directions.
- Some elders have family members that do not wish to have their privacy compromised. As such, not every elder can be photographed. We will have a staff member following your group to provide advice on this.
- We would require your groups members to sign an agreement that the photos taken will only be for your personal portfolios, and will not be used for any other purposes, whether commercial or non commercial.
- Please provide a set of the soft copy photo files taken by your group, for the Home to keep in our archives.
Appreciate if you can keep the group size to 5 for easier movement and coordination. Please let us have a list of the names and NRIC of the members who are coming at least a week before your date of visit, so we can draft the letter of agreement and inform the staff accordingly.
here ish the reply from Lions Home
note the bold sentence. its really a thin line between non-commercial purpose and posting pictures online. how do we differentiate this?
ya.. may need to ask the organisation to sieve out those with photo consent and also for us to be clear of the objectives of the phototaking and will it be posted online (e.g. fb/flickr) or only for own keepsake.
Tried this suanthai before.. overall not bad la.. jus that the curry dishes i had were too coconutty.. :sweatsm:
non-commercial purpose and posting online are the same i guess.. means can only use as ur own portfolio hardcopy and not posted anywhere online.
