Hmmm, actually no leh.. upgrading is still done on schedule even though there is no election.. so long as the votes have been done to go ahead with the upgrading.. they will keep to their timeline..

yes, i agree that when i went past tampines ave 2 area those along the park connector really takes ages to complete.. but maybe becos there is an agreement to complete within that timeline?

Not sure about that but for my side, there will no be any election unless a new PH is announced, job is done within the timeline of 1 - 1.5 yrs for those flats which are already 30-40+ yrs in my neighbourhood

Meet at punggol road block 301 outside Shengshiong at 615am (red star), then we walk about 15mins to the yellow star area where 2 lone trees are for the sunrise shoot.

Also depending on which side of the block ur house is. If yours is at the new lift (where they build new extension for the lift), you will enjoy the service first.

If you are near to existing lift then u have to wait slightly longer lor. Cos the will build new lift first, then shut down one of the original lift and change new one. Then cone new one complete, the will shut the other original lift.

Some levels with existing lifts dont pay, but those w/o pay a certain amt, and if singaporeans i think is fully subsidised or still need pay a small amt. Judging by this, the amt paid shld ensure the works complete on time and not drag another year. If there is a contract then, basically breach of contracts amt to residents demanding the right for compensation but again, nah...

like wat u say, if 30-40 years do faster, then why not for 20years one? 20 years one also got old ppl and less privilege residents mah.

there is no individual contract nor contractual deadline lor. The only contract exists betw contractors and town council i think. To the residents, it's "you sign, you agree, we do, other things not ur business" :sweat:
