here's my contribution of jiao from china trip..the REAL china trip haha

fantestic capture ! nice bokeh of the boatman and super sharp jiao. I saw lots of documentaries about this activities, these birds are no fed for days and was kept in a cage. The fisherman then tie their neck with a string and bring them for "fishing". can't wait for the rest of the shots. :thumbsup:

The way they fish is to have a ring or fastener at the neck so that whe the fish is caught.. the bird dun manage to swallow it.. the fisherman then retrieve it for own consumption...

yup spoton. we couldnt spot the fishes in the water but the person said the fishes were hiding beneath the weeds in the water hence hidden from view..the bird is really something to sniff them out!
